Most engagements run between a month and a quarter. Pricing is fixed at scoping. No surprise invoices. No mid-project re-pricing.

Scope

30 to 60 minutes on a discovery call. We audit your current workflow, your data, your team. By the end you have a written one-page scope, a fixed price, and a delivery date.

Design

We map the AI architecture: the prompts, the tools, the integrations, the failure modes. You see a working prototype within 7 days. You sign off, or we iterate before we build.

Build

We ship in weekly increments. You get access to the in-progress system from day one. Your team can test, comment, and request changes inside the build, not after.

Deploy & Support

Final handoff includes documentation, a usage policy, and a 30-day support window. After that, ongoing support is monthly retainer or pay-as-you-go. Your call.

Discovery Call

30 minutes with the team. We confirm fit (sometimes recommend a different path than the quiz returns), then enroll you in the right cohort.

Onboard the App

Within 90 seconds of enrollment: app download links, login, and auto-enrollment in two communities (your cohort + the main Deep Steed community).

Learn, Build, Stay

Self-paced lessons, live cohort calls, capstones, peer reviews. Cohort access for half a year, sometimes more. Main community for life.

What people ask before they pay.

How long does a custom build take?

Between a month and a quarter, depending on scope. Single-service builds (like an AI phone receptionist) typically ship in 4 to 6 weeks. Multi-service integrated systems take a couple of months.

What if I don't know exactly what I need?

That's the discovery call. We come in with a structured set of questions, walk you through your current workflow, and surface what AI fits and what doesn't. Half the value is what we tell you not to build.

Do you keep my data?

No. Your data lives in your environment. We build on top of it but we don't store, sell, or train on it. Data handling is part of every scoping document.

What happens after the build is delivered?

You get 30 days of support included. After that, ongoing support is either a monthly retainer (most common) or pay-as-you-go. We don't lock you in.

Can I take a course AND hire you to build?

Yes, often the right move. Take the Operator's Playbook so your team understands the systems, then let us build the heavier lifts. The two reinforce each other.

Are courses live or self-paced?

Hybrid. Lessons are self-paced video. Each course also runs two live cohort calls per month plus a capstone presentation. Recordings are saved inside the app.

What's the cohort cap?

20 for most courses. 7 for Capital Map (vetted, by application). Small caps are deliberate. Larger cohorts make the live calls less useful.

Can I expense this through my company?

In most cases yes. We provide a detailed receipt and a one-pager describing the program for your finance team if needed.
